Avalidam Sol Lyrics

What is the meaning of Avalidam Sol lyrics?

The song "Avalidam Sol" (Tell Her) is a poignant plea from a heartbroken lover. The protagonist is in immense pain, feeling unseen and misunderstood by the person they love. They express how their very soul is withering in the flame of memories, and how the beloved, who once entered their life like a fragrance, has now inflicted deep wounds. The lyrics convey a sense of profound loss and unrequited love, where the lover's pain is so deep it feels like a mirage within a mirage, breaking them into fragments. The song delves into the paradox of longing even after hope seems lost, questioning if this is an unwritten epic of life or an unchanging state of suffering. The imagery of a voice a cuckoo doesn't join, or a light sunlight doesn't touch, emphasizes the isolation and unique nature of their sorrow. The protagonist's breath and soul are consumed by this burning love, yet they continue to throb with life, caught in a timeless puzzle of relationships and questioning if their entire existence is merely a dream. The repeated refrain "Tell her" underscores the desperate desire for their beloved to finally understand the depth of their enduring love and suffering.
