Feel Lyrics

What is the meaning of Feel lyrics?

This song from 'Vaazhl' offers a poignant and somewhat cynical commentary on the modern human condition, characterized by detachment and a struggle to connect authentically. The lyrics paint a picture of individuals hiding their true selves for societal expectations or financial gain, feeling trapped by circumstances, whether physical (a gate, an island) or digital (phones, OTT platforms). The repeated phrase "Hard to feel" encapsulates a pervasive sense of emotional numbness and a yearning for genuine experience in a world increasingly mediated by technology and superficiality. The song questions the efficacy of superficial actions, asking if washing hands truly changes life or if washing eyes reveals God, hinting at a deeper spiritual or existential void. It touches upon contemporary issues like online worship, the pressure of academic performance (arrears leading to all-pass), and economic indicators (GDP) as abstract, perhaps meaningless, metrics in the face of personal struggle. Ultimately, it's a reflection on the challenges of finding real connection and meaning in a fast-paced, digitally saturated, and often isolating world, concluding with a resigned yet hopeful "We'll manage, brother! May you live with abundance!"
