Mohana Ranga Ennai Parada Lyrics

What is the meaning of Mohana Ranga Ennai Parada lyrics?

This song is a fervent devotional plea, likely from a devotee to Lord Ranganatha (a form of Vishnu), expressing an intense yearning for his divine glance. The singer implores Ranga, the 'enchanting' and 'mind-captivating' one, to turn and look upon them. The lyrics use a series of profound metaphors to convey the immense joy, rarity, and preciousness of receiving Ranga's attention, comparing it to the impossible joy of a barren woman bearing a son or the unexpected fortune of unearthing a treasure. The metaphors continue to describe Ranga's presence as a source of ultimate comfort and beauty: like the solace that alleviates pain, the transformative power of alchemy radiating light, or the serene beauty of a fragrant grove. The song further likens Ranga's grace to a blessed daughter born from the sea, the essential vision for one's children, and the comforting return of waves to the shore. Each comparison emphasizes the profound significance and the deep longing for the divine gaze, painting a picture of complete devotion and adoration.
