Neeraadum Kangal Lyrics

What is the meaning of Neeraadum Kangal lyrics?

The song "Neeraadum Kangal" from 'Vennira Aadai' is a poignant expression of unrequited love and profound longing. The protagonist, presumably a woman, describes her emotional turmoil with vivid imagery, stating her eyes are "bathed in tears" and her heart is "struggling." She conveys an intense dependency on her beloved's presence, asserting that her feelings and thoughts will remain steadfast and unchanged if he does not appear or if she cannot see him. This stanza beautifully captures the agony of waiting and the consuming nature of a love that dominates her entire being. The subsequent verses delve into the transformative impact of this love, questioning her past emotional states before his arrival. She implies that her life gained meaning only after encountering him, yet paradoxically, his presence has also stripped her of peace. The lines, "You nurtured all my dreams, but snatched them away before they came into my hands," suggest a bittersweet experience where hope was ignited only to be cruelly extinguished, leaving her in a state of emotional limbo and yearning for a resolution to her heartfelt plea.
