Poojaikkaga Vazhum Lyrics

What is the meaning of Poojaikkaga Vazhum lyrics?

This poignant song delves into themes of profound loss, injustice, and questioning divine will. The central metaphor of a "flower that lives for worship" being "plundered" represents a pure, dedicated soul, likely a beloved woman, who has suffered an undeserved tragedy. The protagonist grapples with the cruelty of fate, asking whose conspiracy led to this sorrow and if such an outcome is truly God's decree. The imagery of a delicate flower being destroyed by lightning further emphasizes the unfairness of the situation, highlighting the vulnerability of the innocent against overwhelming forces. The lyrics express deep despair and a sense of emptiness following the beloved's departure. The protagonist feels metaphorically blind, stating that his eyes ceased to exist once the "light-maiden" left, indicating that she was his vision and reason for living. His heart is filled with a secret wound, and his tears are an offering to her memory. Despite the overwhelming pain, her radiant face remains an inseparable part of his dreams and memories, underscoring the enduring nature of his love and grief.
