Thottachinungi Pola Lyrics

Like a touch-me-not, she recoils when touched,
She's a little sparrow.
She flies away quickly, thinking it's enough to leave me,
Like a waterfall cascading down.
In that border forest, in that small beehive,
in that teak forest, I have collected honey.
Little girl, shall I feed it to you?
All the days I was deceived by listening to your sweet words
have climbed mountains and passed.
Don't go through the mango grove, dear,
If you see the raw mangoes, desire will come.
Don't go through the drumstick tree forest,
If the drumstick tree's wind blows, don't accept it.
Shall I take a Parijatha flower and place it at your feet?
It's enough if you rub and give me a bunch of turmeric.
Shall I bring a silver cloud for you and make a half-saree for you?
You must bring a silver moon and put a bindi on my forehead.
