Vaazhvil Ninaive Kanavaagume Lyrics

What is the meaning of Vaazhvil Ninaive Kanavaagume lyrics?

The song expresses profound disillusionment and sorrow, questioning the nature of love, happiness, and reality itself. The singer laments whether cherished memories will fade into mere dreams and if burgeoning love is destined to be false. This existential questioning is rooted in a personal experience of heartbreak, where the desire for love is perceived as a 'greedy' aspiration, leading to an unbearable emotional state. The lyrics further delve into the ephemeral nature of joy, comparing it to the fleeting moon in a forest or a dream that vanishes upon waking. The singer feels trapped in a cycle where happiness invariably leads to disappointment. The poignant imagery of a lush grove turning into a barren desert, and the singer becoming a 'parrot waiting for the silk-cotton fruit' (a symbol of futile waiting), powerfully conveys a sense of lost hope and self-identity, leaving them in a state of deep yearning and despair.
