Megam Karukuthu Lyrics

Clouds are gathering, lightning smiles,
Drizzle falls, my heart soars.
Clouds are gathering, lightning smiles,
Drizzle falls on me, the remaining drops flow like a river.

Let the rain stop when I say so,
Let my clothes dry on the rainbow flag.
Oh rain, drop down, my chest is your home.

Oh moon, come, come, come without stopping,
Is bathing with me not sweet?
Shall I wash your shore?
Oh dove, come, come, come with the flower,
Shall I give you space for your coldness?
Shall I make a nest in my hair for you?

Like the wind, I too have no wings,
When going on the ground, I cannot be imprisoned.
The symbol of youth, the color of young silk,
I will nurture it more and more.
Above twenty-one years, I will stop time, hey!

Let the rain stop when I say so,
Let my clothes dry on the rainbow flag.
Oh rain, drop down, my chest is your home.

Oh dream, come, come, come with your eyes,
Give me wings to measure outer space,
Make me a bed in the stars.
Oh mynah, come, come, come with the kajal,
My eyes spread the light of beauty,
Spread my beauty far and wide.

One moon is not enough for the earth, not enough,
That's why I came now as the second moon.
Collecting dew drops gathered in flowers,
I will bathe in the morning when it dawns,
When it dawns, I will wear the light, hey!

Let the rain stop when I say so,
Let my clothes dry on the rainbow flag.
Oh rain, drop down, my chest is your home.
