Vaanam Pookkal Lyrics

What is the meaning of Vaanam Pookkal lyrics?

The song "Vaanam Pookkal" from 'Hi Nanna' is a tender lullaby or a heartfelt expression of parental love, likely from a father to his child. The lyrics paint a picture of innocent wonder through the child's perspective, where even celestial phenomena like "white flowers blooming in the sky" (clouds or stars) and "stars swimming on the earth" (reflections or imagination) are observed with curiosity. The parent's voice is gentle and reassuring, asking if the child hears the song sung close to their ear, suggesting a deep, intimate bond and a desire to be a comforting presence. The second part of the song delves deeper into this connection, portraying the parent's wish to become an integral part of the child's existence – "becoming breath within your heart" and "the life of life itself." This signifies an unconditional love that transcends physical presence, aiming to nurture the child's dreams and be a constant, vital force. The humming at the end reinforces the lullaby-like quality, emphasizing peace, warmth, and the profound emotional bond shared between parent and child, making it a poignant ode to unconditional love and protection.
